Foxconn Shows off its DLP Projector

The new PD-S2900 Digital Light Processing Projector set to be available later this year.

Foxconn has just recently showcased their newest DLP Projector. The PD-S2900 is small enough to fit in the palm of your hands, being just 4″ by 3.6″ by 1.4″ and weighing roughly a pound. Even though the concept of small projectors is nothing new, this one manages to get ahead of the others by possessing fifty-five lumens of brightness and the ability to project a clear screen from just  a few feet away.

Unfortunately, there have been no plans to ship this little device out of Taiwan any time soon, but I’m sure that once it is, it’ll become a very popular product. For those of you who live in Taiwan, check for it to be available later this year.

I can’t wait for these little devices to become commonly built. Then, I’ll finally be able to afford one.
