Can you believe that I found one of these at Goodwill yesterday for 7 dollars? That’s why Goodwill rocks.
The LED Binary Clock can be described in one word: amazing. Once you learn to read the display, it becomes a game. I have it sitting next to my monitor and I’m constantly looking over at it as the LEDs make cool shapes based on the time (a simple by-product of binary clocks). One thing that should be noted, however, is that the clock is a lot smaller than I had expected. Actually, it’s about 65% the size I had thought. But hey, it’s still worth the $20.00 that ThinkGeek.com is selling it for in ThinkGeek Home & Office
section.
If you don’t know how to read binary clocks don’t worry, ThinkGeek was nice enough to give a very good chart on the product page. Click here to go there now.

This is the latest gadget I’ve purchased from the technophiles over at ThinkGeek.com, and I must say, it’s worth the high price. First, you need to know that this thing is tiny. The diameter is nearly equal to the width of a regular USB plugin. It’s 2GB memory size makes it practical for most uses, though I’ve never managed to fill up all of the way. It’s very stylish, which makes it easy to tote around on a keyring. That way, any time I need to use it, I can simply unscrew the memory key from its protective brushed metal casing. Believe me, this is one of those gadgets that is sure to impress your friends.
You can find it in the ThinkGeek Computing section.

This was one of my first purchases from ThinkGeek.com
and is easily one of my favorites. It never ceases to amaze people when they first notice it. A great description for it would be an on-the-go box cutter combined with a precision screwdriver. I swear that the screwdriver on this thing is the only one I own that is small enough to open up those small gadgets that we all own. The screwdriver is a bit difficult to use due to the placement of the blade, but I quickly got used to it. The product is made up of very durable metal, and so far has never needed any tweaking. Before I purchased it, I didn’t believe that it’d actually be as small as a regular key, but it held up to its description. I reccomend it to all of my friends, because in all seriousness, for 10 dollars, this thing is a real bargain.
It contains:
- Semi-serrated knife blade
- Micro Flat or Phillips screwdriver
- Eyeglass screwdriver
- Bottle opener
And if you’re wondering, it doesn’t have to get threaded onto your key-ring. Instead, it just snaps on and off for quick and easy access!
